N Gauge/2mm Peco Setrack with Gaugemaster Analogue DC Control This simple table top layout measures 48" x 30" and uses Peco N gauge Setrack with a Gaugemaster Model D twin track controller. Turnout motors are controlled using the 16v AC output from the Model D via a Capacitor Discharge Unit (CDU) and Peco PL-26 Passing Contact Switches mounted in a frame. The baseboard is Sundeala finished in dark grey undercoat on top of a 2"x1" softwood frame. The track is installed onto bevel edged sliced cork and ballasted with Woodland Scenics Fine Grey Blend ballast. Baseboard edges are finished with tape and plastic corners fitted to stop damage in transit. The layout can be used on a standard table or on the metal trestles supplied with the layout.
